  • CU Somerset clashes with CU Harrodsburg

    HARRODSBURG,KY- With little time to recover from their game against Oakland City, Campbellsville University Somerset traveled to Mercer County High School for a game against Campbellsville University Harrodsburg. CU Somerset held the lead for most of the game and headed into the locker room at half with a 35-25 edge. An offensive surge by CU Harrodsburg allowed them to close the gap and turned the final minutes of the game into a shootout. In the end, CU Somerset falls to CU Harrodsburg 82-86.
  • CU Somerset men's basketball takes on Bluefield State College

    Campbellsville University Somerset hit the road to take on Bluefield State College. The Maroon and White battled through the first half going into the half trailing 40-47. The Tigers could not rally in the second half falling to Bluefield State, 83-95.
  • CU Somerset JV cruises past Union College JV

    Somerset, KY - Campbellsville University Somerset men’s basketball junior varsity hosted Union College junior varsity from Somerset Christian School. The Tigers took the lead early and never looked back. The Maroon and White held a 13 point lead at half and continued to push the offense. CU Somerset JV takes the victory over Union College JV, 95-69.
  • CU Somerset men's basketball begins program against Cleveland State CC
    November 11, 2018
    Campbellsville University Somerset men’s basketball traveled to Cleveland, TN for a game against Cleveland State Community College to begin the first game in program history. Both teams battled in the first half with neither team gaining a substantial lead. The Tigers managed to get the edge heading into the locker room at half with a 39-37 edge over Cleveland State. The Maroon and White pushed the offense in at the start of the second half to extend their lead to 10 points. With 12 minutes left in the game, the Tigers’ offense hit a scoring drought. Cleveland State took advantage to take the lead with six minutes to play. The Maroon and White battled and kept the game close. With time running out, the Tigers set up for a tying three pointer. The shot went up, circled the cylinder, and fell to the floor. CU Somerset drops a heartbreaker to Cleveland State 67-70.

    Somerset, KY – Campbellsville University Somerset hosted the inaugural media day from Somerset Christian on Oct. 11. This was the first chance for the media and fans to meet the 2018-19 CU Somerset Tigers men’s basketball team.

    Campbellsville University has joined the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) with their new athletics program that will include men and women’s basketball, bowling and golf on Tuesday, during their media day held at the Willows.

    The first senior from the class of 2018 out of Galilean Christian to sign a basketball letter of intent is Tristan Royalty. The 6'6" Eagles forward put ink to a letter of intent just two days before receiving his high school diploma and the new Campbellsville University Somerset basketball program is thrilled to have the Galilean product.

    Southwestern High School senior basketball standout Hunter Stevens had a sensational career finale for the Warriors, which included a state-ranked scoring average of nearly 26 points per game and a trip to the KHSAA Sweet Sixteen in Rupp Arena.
