CU Somerset opened the season tonight with a big win in a high scoring affair over Grace Christian University. With 196 total points scored in the game, both teams played fast and shot often. The Tigers of Somerset got off to a slow start until Steven "Shorty" Cager caught fire.
Cager paced the team with 33 points, but with 102 points scored, he wasn't the only one to produce. Kourtney Ware chipped in with 24 of his own points followed by, Meith Reclow (15), Keelan Kennedy (16), and Josiah Williams (10).
With an overall productive and well rounded offensive night and a better defensive effort in the second half thanks to some great coaching adjustments from Coach Al Gover, the Tigers will look to build on this start as they host Grace Christian yet again this Thursday at 7:00 P.M. Eastern.
